Today has been great. Although it is flag day again, my friends and I had lotsa fun while we walked around with a tin can (read: almost empty).

I went flagging with Faith, Tara, Amanda, Huiqi, Cheng, Samantha, Cheryl and Shermaine. We met up at City Hall MRT where I revealed my new skill- juggling 3 balls. My dear "shifu" a.k.a Huiqi then tried to do it as well. She was the one who taught me the fundamentals of juggling. Our conclusion of Huiqi's juggling is that she is one dangerous juggler. Must stand at a 2 metre radius to avoid flying ball.

When everyone arrived, we made our way to Adelphi to collect the tin cans and we all decided to head to Orchard for some serious pestering. Took bus 14 (ran for it) and stopped at Somerset. We split into groups of 3 so I grouped with Amanda and Tara. We walked all over Orchard. From Somerset down to Meritus Mandarin Hotel then to Wheelock and then over to DFS Galleria. To be honest, we stopped collecting by the time we passed Lido. After that, we entered Lido, where Isetan is, and looked around at the stuff.

Met the rest of the gang at Orchard MRT and we headed to Hard Rock Cafe for FOOD. Huiqi had four $10 Hard Rock Cafe vouchers which is why we decided to makan there. So the reason was not because we are loaded or anything.

At Hard Rock, there was this whole fiasco about the bloody vouchers. The vouchers stated that only one was allowed to be used per visit. Since there was this term, we decided to split tables. Then the whole split tables thing got really confusing. Tara and I got pretty pissed in the confusion and all that walking before didn't help either. In the end, I sat with Tara, Faith and Amanda. We ordered 2 lemonades (refillable) and one HRC Grilled Beef Sandwich thingy. Tara went to take a walk because she was not feeling well and told us she wouldn't be eating. Actually none of us felt well. We all felt like sleeping. Faith reckoned it was the dim atmosphere in HRC. Possibly. After lunch, the four of us at the table left first because we wanted to go to Suntec City to gashapon.

I must say, my luck for gashapon is real good today. There was a new Gundam SEED Destiny series out so Faith and I splurged on it. I got all of those I wanted. Namely Lacus, Kira and Auel whereas Faith had Heine, Neo, Lacus and Kira (it was an extra of mine but I sold it to her). I then entered a shop and decided to try my luck on a new series of GSD boxed figurines. This series is really cool so I wouldn't really mind whichever I get although I really wanted the Cagalli one the most. It was soooo nice. I got Talia Gladys though. Tough luck. However, I am happy with Talia. She's a cool captain and her figurine is wayyy cool. Nicer than Murrue's!

Apparently, Tara was short on luck. She and Amanda were playing the Nightmare Before Christmas series and both of them had lots of extras. Tara needed this Sally character to complete her set so she asked Faith and I to use our magical fingers to help. Faith and I then pointed our magical fingers to Sally on the machine and started to chant.

Me: "Sally, Sally, Sally, Sally..."

Faith: *says something really fast and starts to chant* "Sally, Sally, Sally..."

Tara: *puts in coins. about to get heart attack*

Gashapon machine: *makes some turning noise and pops a ball out*

Tara: *screams and jumps high up in the air* (its Sally)

Faith and I: *screams and jumps high up in the air*

The three of us: ^5!

Stranger Gashapon-ers: O.O

Told you we have magical fingers. :P

After gashapon-ing, we rushed back to Adelphi to return the tins (which were less than a quarter full) and then I went to meet my mum to get a haircut.

I hate haircuts. It never turns out nice. My heart was pumping like crazy as I waited for my turn at the salon. I was staring at the picture of the haircut I wanted, busy wondering if it suited me and whether it looked too much like my current one.

And then I went for it.

Lots of snips and a waterfall of hair later(I did not turn bald. I was just having the afro thinned), it was done.

And I like it!

hahahahaha.

So yeah. It has been an eventful Saturday. I am knackered...
