I got back my report book last week. Same old, same old stuff. I am not going to tell you what it said.
The collection of report books usually signals the end of the semester and the start of the long awaited holidays. Except that I ain't got no holidays. The school is keeping me prisoner for 2 weeks of the 4-week vacation. Kill me now.
Anyway, my friend, Alanna, told me I haven't updated in "2 weeks and 5 days". I thought I haven't updated in four days.
Have 2 weeks really gone by that quickly?
Must have been the mock papers I have had for the past week that messed up my head. They said the papers was to prepare us for the O' Level Chinese paper. It just made me sick of writing essays. In any case, I think their plan worked because when I sat for the O' Level paper yesterday, it felt like a mock paper. Except that I didn't know if that was a good thing.
Yesterday was a pretty eventful day. Wang Lao Shi wanted to treat my friends and myself to Pizza Hut. We were in her class last year and she is leaving to do missionary work in M'sia or something. So we went to Siglap's Pizza Hut outlet and ordered pizza (duh) but I ordered beef lasagne because I had to leave early to meet Faith, Tara and Kathy at Orchard. The time when the food came was 1.50pm. The time I was to meet the 3 girls was by 3pm latest. We were supposed to catch the 2.55pm X-Men 3 show.
So how did I manage to get to Orchard from Siglap in 45 minutes (since I left at 2.15pm)? I was lucky enough to not need to wait for the bus. First, I ran for bus 10. Then, I stopped at the Dunman Road area and switched to bus 16. I managed to reach Cineleisure at 2.55pm. Lady Luck was definitely on my side.
X-Men 3. How did it fair?
WAY better than The Da Vinci Code (then again, most movies would be better than The Da Vinci Code).
What's Good: Graphics were good, especially the part in the Grey's house, the last battle in Alcatraz Labs and definitely Angel's wings. Lots of cool action scenes and Juggernaut being a dumb oaf (tricked by Shadowcat twice within a span of 5 minutes, how dumb can you get?).
What's Bad: Angel's three lines. WTH. They reduced him to something useless, all he ever did was jump out of a building and save his lousyassdad. Its a shame coz I like Angel. He's cute. :P The love triangle- Rogue probably back with Bobby. I have to say this: I don't like Rogue, too insecure. Bobby should be with Kitty, the ice-skating scene pretty much made me come to that conclusion. Time- too damn short. I expected a blockbuster like this to be about 2h++ but its only 1h and 45mins.
All-in-all: Angel is cute. So-called "cure" is temporary and Prof. X is baaaacccckkkk.....
Ok, I think I better leave. I still got Chemistry waiting next to me. I only wrote a line in the last hour.
