I intended to study after I was done with lunch (Chem test on Monday!) but I decided to blog first then study. My grandma is occupying the dining table anyway (she's still eating) and I use that table to mug...
Time has been passing super fast. The first week of August has already ended and the prelims are in just 4-5 weeks time! >.< But I don't want to think about it.
Last Saturday, I downloaded NANA the movie (live-action) to watch. I think most people who follow anime and read manga would have heard of NANA (the manga) since it's pretty popular. So I decided to d/l the movie to watch (subbed version of course).

The show, which is based off a manga, is about two girls who are both named Nana and are both 20 yrs old. They meet on a train and later met again when they were looking for an apartment. The girls become roomies and then the story kind of revolves around them. The movie wasn't too bad. Nothing fantastic but it's watchable. The girls were portrayed well but the male characters were literally stone fish. I guess it is because they are supposed to be those "cool" rocker types. But whatever, they are sub-characters anyway. One thing that I am hooked on is the 2 songs sung in the movie (Glamorous Sky and Journey). They played in my head non-stop for a few days...
The day after I watched NANA, I went to Popular to buy stationary and ended up buying Death Note manga as well. I bought books 3 to 7, a foolscap pad and a pen. I intended to buy pen refills but they didn't sell them (or at least I didn't see them) so I just bought a new pen. I wanted the colour black but I ended up buying "brown-black". The thing looked like black in the plastic cover so I couldn't tell. Since when was there a colour called "brown-black" anyway? Unless they meant for the ink to look brown under bright light and black under dimmer conditions....
Death Note movie poster! I think it looks cool. I wonder if I can get the chirashi poster....
I am really hooked to the Death Note manga. I want to watch the movie! I am praying that a fansubber group would sub the movie so I can download it. I know that the movie would be released in Singapore (read that somewhere) but if it comes out in October or something, I wouldn't be able to go so the best solution is a subbed version from the net. The subtitles will probably be more accurate anyway.
