I've got 2 good news.

No. 1: I got an A1 for my Physics test (22 people in my class got A1)
No. 2: I think I did okay in the O'Level English oral 2 days ago

I've got one bad news:
I've received the Prelim exam timetable.

It has always been known when the prelims were and how long more it will be before it comes. But to receive the timetable is like "oh mannn. I am so not ready.."

Anyway, let me talk about the good news. I won't elaborate on the Physics test since there's nothing much to say. So that leaves me with the oral exam.

I felt that the passage was nothing too tough although I did screw up a little at some words. The hardest part was when I had to read "think things through". All that "th" was driving me nuts. Other than that, the passage wasn't too tough.

The picture was not too bad. There was this Caucasian dude dressed like Sir Stamford Raffles in the middle with a bunch of primary school kids behind him. It was some historical tour thing...

Conversation was okay. I felt I did better in conversation than picture.

The examiners asked these questions:
-"What do you foresee yourself working as in the future?" (something like that)
-"Why do you think it is important to know about the past?"
-"What changes do you think there will be in the future?"

I hope that I will do well though. Mrs Koh (EL HOD) said that the people who had oral on the same day as me didn't do as well as the others. I suppose that's a general conclusion...

Other than oral, the people (meaning the girls) in my class came up with some day-to-day thing.

Yesterday, the girls declared it as "Bun day" and everyone had to tie their hair with a bun. Today they declared it as "Braid day" so they all had braids. Well, it was not all the girls who participated. Just the few crazy ones like Ru, Dorea, Lilian, Michelle and Emily. I wanted a braid too but my hair was short and straight so when Emily made one at the side, it stuck out horribly.

The girls haven't said what day tomorrow would be but this whole activity just reminds me of Suzumiya Haruhi's 7 braids....
