Ever since school started after the Prelims, the sec 4s have been a really depressed bunch. The topic of all conversations is prelim marks and the most commonly used word is currently "moderate". Everyone talks about moderation as often as Mrs Koh talks about "last year's cohort".
I got back my prelim results. All I can say is...someone get me a job for the first 3 months!
Obviously I didn't do well if not I'd be starting this post with exclaimation marks and hoorays...
I am utterly disappointed at my abysmal results (I can only be happy for my Chem and possibly Physics) and I am praying that a JC would accept me for the first 3 months since I got 20 points flat for my L1R5 (pathetic, I know). But it is ok, I have gotten over my results and have decided to start some full on mugging.
Ok, here is the (lousy as shit) results:
English: C5 (I had almost error-free essays but I failed compre. I suck, I know)
Chinese: B4 (for prelims, B3 for O' Levels. I think I got B4 this time round)
A Maths: B4 (wayyy below expectations. For all the effort I put in, this was definitely not the result I had expected)
E Maths: C5 (Not even gonna comment on this crap)
Comb Humans: B4 (29/50 for SS and 31.5/50 for Geog Elec. I have never done so well in GE ever..)
Chemistry: A1 (My only salvation! 78/100!)
Physics: B3 (With my bonus marks added, I would get an A2. I hate Physics practicals)
Lit: unsure, I haven't received my last section but I am expecting a C5 (pathetic)
Now, I can only pray that the school will moderate a lot so that my L1R5 will drop. Unfortunately, they aren't moderating English (they insist on not moderating) although 100 people failed. I just need 0.7 marks to get a B4!
Ahhh...whatever...
Other than the results, I don't think there has been much going on...
I guess I'll just end here...
