HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
It's New Year's eve and just 4 hours to the year 2007.
I'm sitting in the dining room, listening to my favourite tunes and staring at the sweet, half-eaten chocolate cake (Sara Lee cake, by the way).
This is how I'm spending my new year. Seriously.
My parents are out at their friend's party at some country club. Bloody happening parents. They have more life than me and my sisters combined.
Second sis is in Hong Kong while first sis is at her own home, watching movies till the new year.
Well, today isn't as pathetic as I seem to be making out to be (actually, the day isn't pathetic, but the way I'm spending the new year is).
I went out with Faith and Kathy to Orchard today. We went to Kinokuniya as usual and I bought the Jan 2007 issue of Newtype Japan. Nice freebies with the mag. It rocks. Totally worth my 11 bucks. :)
After our trip, Faith came over to my place because she was reluctant to go home where she would have to kill about 5 hours of time before her family gathering starts. Since my house is pretty empty, I invited her over.
We did some stuff on the net and watched Rozen Maiden Ouverture before she left (the poor girl suffered from withdrawal symptoms of the net because her computer broke down)...
That's all that happened today.
I guess you could say my New Year's eve is pretty pathetic.
Whatever.
Time for New Year Resolutions!
.....well, I don't have any actually. I don't have the habit of making resolutions as well as the habit of actually keeping them.
I do want a happy and fruitful 2007 though. Let's make that a happy and fruitful life, shall we?
