YESTERDAY SO ROCKED.TEACHER'S DAY WAS A ROUNDING SUCCESS!30TH STUDENT COUNCIL. I'M SO PROUD OF YOU!!!!!All our efforts, late nights and eye bags have not come to naught. The teachers were very very impressed with our concert and we all got raving reviews. SO, YAY FOR US!!
On top of that, our dance was executed PERFECTLY. YAY.
I'm so glad for the 30th SC. Glad that we have stepped up to the occasion and managed to pull off what we thought would have been a failure. Proud that we managed to prove naysayers wrong. To prove that we aren't a council that has not reached the benchmark made by previous councils.
30TH, KEEP IT UP!(if you want photos of TDay, go to Jo Quek's blog)After celebrations, I rushed back to TK to see that almost everyone has left. I managed to talk a little to Mrs Chee but all the teachers were rushing off for their hi-tea so I didn't talk to anyone for long.
Mrs Chee was surprised that I was in the Student Council though. She was like...
"but you are Rachel! The girl who was so slack in TK". And I was like
"yeah. Pon CCA for 4 years".
Mrs Chen was surprised too....
Ah well, the surprises you can get.
Didn't manage to meet any other teachers though..
Went out with Kat and Faith for lunch.
Won Faith in scissor-paper-stone and thus won my bid to watch Hairspray.

HAIRSPRAY ROCKSI love the songs and the whole story.
If you think it's just one of those lame musicals, you are wrong! It has a strong theme of racism because if you didn't know, the film is about the Blacks being discriminated by the Whites and about how some people are striving for integration between the races on a television show.

Yesterday sure was fun but this holiday is really more for me to study than play.
PROMOS IN 3 WEEKS.
