Orientation 1 is over.
The past 3 days have been CRAZY man!
I've had little sleep and have been screaming and shouting my voice hoarse.
But it's not so bad. Orientation was cool despite the eye bags and painful throat.

OG 6!
Perdana and I were the OGLs for OG 6. I'll be honest with my views on OG 6. When I first met them, I thought they were....too quiet. But that's ok because on the first day, it is usually the case (I was quiet too!). Then I realised that these guys were just really....quite shy- in contrast to Joanne's OG 4. However, OG 6 was not entirely unenthusiastic. According to Perdana, they cheered really loudly during The Hunt. Not to mention the fact that almost all of them turned up for OG dinner on day 2! Perdana and I were prepared to have dinner with only a few people because they seemed so tired and so reluctant. But as in turns out, I had to go down to Macs to make sure there were enough seats.

So yes, OG 6 has given me lots of surprises and they definitely had the potential to be more enthusiastic. I don't know if I had been the best OGL but I tried my best. Perhaps I did let my impatience and anger take over me at some points or let my exhaustion affect the OG. I hope OG 6 had a fun time though. Like when we played Tuki Tuki and Sardine.

Sharon's OG 29- in Picture Perfect, The Hunt
For the overall Orientation experience, I've met some pretty good OGs ( like Sharon's OG 29) and I've also met OGs that I didn't get a good impression of (based on the short time I spent with them at the stations).

Siersha- The Gathering
Finale Night was crazy. It started from bad cheers from all the tribes (not just Siersha). Then Siersha lost the Best Cheer prize to Nahane (which deserved the prize). Although I was truly upset when Siersha lost, I do think Nahane deserved it because their cheers were good and catchy.
The Disco Night was another crazy thing. We had to stop people from making trains and almost got tumbled over. SCARY STUFF. Then we had to clean up spilled milk while the J1s were jumping like jumping beans. Then we did some crazy cheers in the hall over and over. Then we joined the J1s in their crazy jumping and singing.
Then there was the anti-climatic event called "The End" when Emmanuel announced that Disco Night was over. The Disco Night wasn't supposed to be so short. The band was supposed to play for at least 2 sets but because of the lack of time, there was no choice but to end it (school gates close at 10pm).
After crazy jumping and screaming, there was crazy cleaning up for the councillors. In the end, we only left school at about 11.15pm or so.
Whoo. Orientation sure was tough yet fun. My shoulders ached for 2 days. The funny thing is, I don't know why my shoulders ached. Joanne also had the same thing. So weird lah.
Now that Orientation is over, reality steps in.
I've got one GP presentation, one GP essay, one Lit poem annotation to do by next week.
CRAP.
