She talked as if he was on the brink of death.

As if the grim reaper is just standing at the foot of his bed.

Death is probable, I agree. But to talk like that is just... harsh, insensitive even.

I know all of us feel the same although we don't say it. Death is just standing at the doorstep.

We try to be optimistic. We try to pretend that it is all ok. That Western medicine can revert this situation. But we know, deep down, that this situation is not ok at all.

Anything can happen.

What we know of now may be lost forever.
What we've known all our lives may just vanish off the face of the earth.

Is that ok?

I don't think so.
