I went out today!

Yes.

I didn't stay at home and study.

I followed my parents and sisters to the National Cancer Centre (that's at SGH) to get my Dad's test results (CT scan). For those of you who don't know because I haven't really said it yet, my Dad's been diagnosed with Liver cancer. Yeah. Please don't start typing sympathy stuff for me after you read this, yeah? I'm letting everyone know because I hate keeping things in and honestly, I'm handling the whole situation fine. But of course, encouraging stuff are always welcome.... (like Joquek, Alina, Jo Wong and Huiqi. Thanks for your support, yeah?)

Anyway, as I said, we went to collect the results and listen to the doctor. Well... simply put, there was good news and there was bad news. So the mood was really sombre and emotional. My mum was tearing, my sis was sniffling, I was dazed, Dad looked ok but was, evidently, not.

So the morning was not too good but the afternoon looked better. We went to Jelita to have breakfast at O'Briens.

My hot chocolate and my sister's triple decker (a quarter of it left)

Food at O'Briens was good. Expensive and healthy. I had a smoked salmon and cream cheese sandwich and a hot chocolate (with that nice blob of a marshmallow). Dad had some chicken sandwich thing. Totally free of butter and mayonnaise. Tary (older sis, not her name but her nickname yeah) had a toostie and Errie (second sis and, once again, not her name but nickname) had a chicken triple decker sandwich thingamajig. And we all shared a large serving of Greek salad.

Very pricey food.

Eating and Jelita was like eating in America. It's flooded with expats. But it was also very nostalgic because my primary school was right behind. We passed by it on our way to Jelita. My sisters and I were all from the same primary school so we all started to talk about some "haunted house". The conversation diverted into snakes (because there used to be snakes) and then to some other thing.

Yeah well. That pretty much ends today's interesting events.

Starbucks mugging. Last Saturday.

And if you are wondering why my photos look so nice... I was tinkering with the PhotoDJ function in my phone. Cool stuff.
