I just returned from swimming.
I don't usually swim. I think some people may just kill me to know that for the past 3 years living in this condo, I've only made use of the pool thrice (or twice?). Yeah, I know, I'm not utilizing the facilities.
But it is not that I don't like to swim. It's just that I HATE crowded pools. And that is exactly what the pool here is like - on weekends and evenings at least. Since the only free time I have is the weekends, and since the pool contains more humans than water on weekends, I don't swim!
Actually, I don't just hate crowded pools. I hate crowded areas. This is why I avoid places like Bugis, Orchard Rd and MRTs. Ok, I
try to avoid taking the MRT. But for the past few months (or year?), I've not been really going to Orchard as much. It's
way too crowded and squeezy.
The last thing that I want to feel as I shop is a sweaty body or arm next to me as I wait for the green light at the junction between Wisma Atria and Wheelock Place.
The only thing I want to hear is my happiness bubbling in me (as I destress through shopping), not someone breathing down my neck because that person has no where else to turn to.
And. When shopping, I'd rather smell money (that is coming out of my pocket, unfortunately) than sweat.
Actually, money smells bad too. But you get my point.
As much as I hate crowded areas, I do like the City Hall area. But to me, the City Hall area is still better than Orchard or Bugis. Those places are KILLER. I don't see how I can even get out of the MRT sometimes. Just as how I can't ever seem to get into the train from City Hall.
Ok. I shall stop ranting about my dislike of crowded areas...
Today Alina and I were discussing about Edward Cullen from the Twilight trilogy.
Yes, we are "madly in love" with a fictional character. (and this is where I'm going to start to act like a fangirl)
I was just telling Alina about how I can't fit a face to Edward Cullen because I couldn't think of anyone who was as beautiful and gorgeous as what the descriptions in the book makes him out to be. Alina agreed and started harping on the bad choice of actor for Edward in the upcoming film (Robert Pattinson, the dude who played Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter). However, as she complained about the actor, she introduced be to another actor who was also considered for the role.
I now imagine Edward Cullen to have his face.
He is none other than the French actor, Gaspard Ulliel!

I think that he looks really cute here. I love the pose and everything XD

I think he really looks like Edward Cullen here. Gives off a very Edward vibe :)
Ok.. enough gushing. For now.
