I am really close to getting a job as a temp HR consultant at Recruit Express. Really close. I'm meeting the director on Tuesday and if that goes well, I'll have to start work by 1st December! So I'm crossing my fingers!

I'm also crossing my fingers for my feet. The dress code for Tuesday is "smart casual"... so I'm wearing those dress/work pants office people wear and 2 inch black closed toe heels. And the heels are kinda killing my ankles because I'm not quite used to it. I've taken to wearing it around the house to get used to walking and feeling like my feet are semi bound. My sis thinks I'm weird because I'm "clacking" about the house and looking a lot taller than usual.

The plus point in terms of dressing is that I get to use my Mum's Coach bag. She bought it from the US a few months back and claimed that she "bought it for me"... except that she didn't say that a few months ago when she came back from the US, only a few days ago when I said I needed a bag suitable for TUESDAY and future work.

Plans for the week will be... TUESDAY, going out, signing up for Japanese language classes.... I think that's it? Nothing much really. Something tells me that I might get bored. But I did borrow 3 books from the library so I can just curl up and READ!

It's nice to think about my plans without having to put in "homework" and "study".
